Saint Clare’s Convent, Glenvale is home to a community of Sisters of St Clare. It is set in the heart of the beautiful countryside of County Down where creation itself seems to reflect the abundant goodness of God. The serenity and peacefulness of Glenvale makes it an ideal setting to “come apart and rest a while” from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Through our work of hospitality, we welcome those of all ages who wish to share the peace and prayerfulness of our convent and garden. Our Convent is available most of the year to individuals or groups of all denominations wishing to pray and reflect in the quiet atmosphere of Glenvale.
